COMPOSITION OF SSBS
1.The interviewing offices : President and deputy president
2.The group testing officers (GTO'S):4 Menbers from board
3. The psychologists : 4 Members from board
PROCEDURE
The ssb follows a well organised system of testing the candidates from many different angles.this is two stage selection process over a period of five days .
STAGE 1 : SCREENING TEST
STAGE 2 :PSYCHOLOGICAL TESTS
GROUP TESTING OFFICERS (GTO) TESTS
PERSONAL INTERVIEW
DAY 1 SCREENING TEST :
->Here candidates should undergo screening tests which consists of three type of tasks .
1.Intelligent test
2.Picture perception and Description test(PPDT)
3.Group task
Based up on the these test results will estimate whether candidate is qualified for next tests or not .so be careful guys while preparing for these tests .
DAY 2 (PSYCHOLOGIST TESTS)
->In day 2 the candidate should undergo Psychological tests which consists of four tasks .
1.Thematic Appreciation test (TAT)
2.Word Association tests(WAT)
3.Situation Reaction test (SRT)
4.Self description test (SD)
DAY 3 AND 4 (GTO TASKS)
->In this day the candidate should undergo GTO Tasks which consists of two types .
IN-DOOR TASKS
1.Group discussion
2.Group Planing Exercises (Military Planing Exercises )
3.Individual Lecture
OUT-DOOR TASKS
1.Progressive group test (PGT)
2..Half group task
3.Full group task
4.Individual obstacles
5.Command task
6.Snake race
7.Final group task
Personal Interview is held during afternoon/evening hours on any of 2nd/3rd/4th day
